Inglewood Condo Guide
Calgary's oldest neighbourhood, with an independent main street on 9 Avenue SE.
Condos in Inglewood
Established in 1875 as East Calgary, across the Elbow from Fort Calgary, Inglewood is the city's oldest neighbourhood, and 9 Avenue SE, once Atlantic Avenue, keeps some of Calgary's best-preserved main-street architecture. The Canadian Institute of Planners named it Canada's Greatest Neighbourhood in 2014. Its condo market is small, about 1,000 units, almost all built since 1990 and about a third of them townhouse-style.

What to watch for in Inglewood
Inglewood was under a mandatory evacuation during the June 2013 flood and the riverbank eroded badly near 8 Avenue SE, so check a building's distance from the Bow and its flood history. Green Line construction through Ramsay and Inglewood will continue toward a 2031 opening. Live-music venues mean evening noise near 9 Avenue.
